Memorandum of Understanding for the disclosure of tax to HMRC

  • Since 6th April 2013 an agreement has been signed for the disclosure of any accounts held in Guernsey, Jersey, Lichtenstein or the IoM by UK residents (or who were UK resident or have been since 1999), with accounts in these jurisdictions, if any UK tax is due. They have agreed a disclosure facility until 30th Sept 2016 for UK residents to come forward to declare any accounts that they may have or had to come forward and settle any unpaid UK taxes due on special terms.
